QiGong
Rooted in Healing. Beyond Movement.
Qigong is an ancient practice that honors the connection between movement, the organs, sound, and emotions. For Dr. Shawna Murray-Browne, it is not simply exercise — it is a spiritual practice of returning home to self, remembering the wisdom carried in the body, and cultivating presence in the midst of life’s demands.
She shares Qigong as part of her life’s work: guiding leaders, healers, and visionaries to ground themselves, restore balance, and deepen their connection to spirit and community. For community leaders, professors, students, and women in leadership of every walk, Dr. Shawna offers Qigong as a way to move through pressure without losing one’s center — a practice to reconnect with inner flow while carrying the weight of responsibility.
Her Path with Qigong
Dr. Shawna is clear: she is not Chinese, nor does she claim mastery in Qigong. Her teaching honors the roots of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Taoist traditions from which Qigong derives.
As an integrative psychotherapist, mind-body medicine practitioner, and womanist scholar, she holds a deep spiritual tie to the Tao and has studied ancient healing traditions for more than a decade. Her approach is grounded in humility, reverence, and a commitment to honoring lineage while sharing practices that have transformed her own life.
Dr. Shawna integrates Qigong into her keynotes, executive coaching, therapy sessions, and community healing circles. In every space — whether with college students, women executives, or community leaders — she invites participants to move beyond the physical forms into introspection, emotional release, and spiritual renewal.
